Auto Profiles
The Auto Profiles source collects content using Auto source selection, routing each Job to the best available provider.
Datastreamer selects from available providers automatically based on your Job configuration. You do not need to manage provider accounts or credentials to use this source.
Auto Profiles is an Auto-based data source. Like the other Auto sources, it is added and configured in a Job, and it uses Auto source selection to route each request to the best available provider.
Configuring a Job
When creating a Job for the Auto Profiles source, you define what content to collect. Common configuration options include:
- Platform: select between the social media platform to use. At the moment we have the following options:
- TikTok
- X/Twitter
- Provider origin: select the provider origin.
- Auto: we auto select the provider
- USA: provider based in the USA.
- Profile/URL: Profile name or the URL to be retrieved
- Job Type: one time (running after save) or scheduled job (start date, end date)
- Label: you can label the job for jobs grouping purposes
- Tags: Multiple key-value pairs for jobs filtering purposes

What is Collected
Each document returned is mapped to the Datastreamer unified schema, including content text, author metadata, engagement metrics, and post date.
